Balau Wood

Balau is moderately well-defined and lighter in color. The freshly cut heartwood tend to be in yellow-brown, or brown with a tinge of red weathering. The texture is slightly smooth that makes the grain evenly distributed. Balau is also one of the cheaper option of hardwood.
